Contianment

The Watch is currently contained underneath the castle of Old Apelés. No attempts of removal have been made. Because of the way the object works, it is unknown if it is possible to move the object.

Mechanics and inner workings

Whenever the Watch perceives that something is going to happen that will harm, destroy, or otherwise negatively impact the artifact, it will shift time back to preserve itself. This time shift can be for seconds or years. The maximum has yet to be found.

History

When Old Apelés was created by Beomore, he knew that he had to protect the city, even when he was not available. One way he fount to be effective was to revert time to a safe state. This would give the occupants enough time to figure out a better way of getting rid of this evil. The contraption was never tested but was believed to work.
